About the band

Steve Wild and Woody Johnson founded The Class of '68 in 2002 to celebrate a birthday for one of Steve's close friends. What started as a "one night stand" has not stopped "gigging" since!  The music could be best described as "gritty rock with pretty vocals," and is definitely more to the R&B side of the 60's with an emphasis on dance music and crowd interaction. The band also uses authentic 1960's clothing and a complete line of vintage Vox amplifiers to complete the look and take the audience "back to a simpler place and time."
